CS Unitec AutoMAB 450 Description

The AutoMAB 450 features an automatic feed and shutoff mechanism. A game changer in magnetic drilling, this drill will drill the hole for you, extend annular cutter life and keep the motor cool for continuos operationIdeal for steel fabricators, contractors and plant maintenance professionals, the AutoMAB 450 drills holes up to 2”* diameter with CS Unitec TCT Hornet annular cutters in structural steel and other metals. Drilling depth is 2-3/8” maximum with a pilot pin and 4-3/8” without a pilot pin. An integrated automatic cooling/lubrication system increases the life of the annular cutters by reducing friction and wear. Its power feed controls drill pressure to maintain optimal RPM and feed rate. Additional features Include: MT2 Spindle for easy change over between cutting tool holders, manual drilling mode by easily pulling handles away from the drill body.The AutoMAB 450 is equipped with the SAFEMAG™ System which determines whether the magnet has sufficient adhesive force on the material and alerts the user with LED indicators – green for go, red for stop. The Electronic Safety Shutoff Sensor automatically shuts down the drill motor if the magnet loses contact with the material.
